The Astrakhan State Opera and Ballet Theatre hosted the Caspian Media Forum. At the plenary session, representatives of delegations of all Caspian states welcomed participants and guests of the Forum.

“This year has shown a tendency of counties with no direct access to the sea to be interested in this event, too. Uzbekistan’s participation in the Caspian Media Forum this year demonstrates that we are moving towards a wider scope of its activity,”- says Alexey Volin, Deputy Minister For Digital Development and Mass Communications of the Russian Federation.

Owing to successful work made by the participating countries, the Forum marked progress in multimedia content exchange and creation of a united information space, making it possible to set new tasks for the event today. Development of a program to establish an information agency highlighting interaction of the friendly states is one of these tasks. Such an agency could spread information all around the World.

This year the Forum has a wide range of thematic sections devoted to issues of education and culture. Masters of Journalism will share their experience and new multimedia technologies with the new generation.
